What is Lumigan®?

Lumigan is a prescription-only medicine (prostaglandin)  for eyelashes growth.  Lumigan has gone through rigorous tests and safety checks to become  approved for use and is licenced for treatment of hair loss to the lashes.​

It takes around 10 to 30 days of application to notice a growth in the eyelashes. The maximal effect is noticed at 16 weeks.​​

Lumigan is made of Bimatoprost which is a Prostaglandin analogue. Lumigan lengthens the hair cycle so that hairs spend longer growing. The lashes won't grow faster, although they do they will grow for longer which is what gives the enhancement in length and thickness.

What is it used for ?

Lumigan is applied once a day to the base of the upper eyelashes for the first 16 weeks to enhance the growth of the lashes.  When purchasing Lumigan, we will provide you with daily disposable applicator brushes to use. After 16 weeks you can reduce the use of Lumigan (Bimatroprost 0.03%) to twice per week to sustain the new growth and to maintain the effects. For some users. Some continue with 3-4 times weekly to maintain a fuller look.

Lumigan is placed on the base of the upper eyelashes once a day for 16 weeks. Once the  desired length and thickness has been achieved, a switch can be made to maintanence and the application 3-4 times weekly.
